Congress Wants to Incentivize U.S. Manufacturing and Innovation

A new bill has been introduced to Congress that will boost U.S. manufacturing and distribution and innovation, according to an article from the Washington Examiner.

In the article author Al Weaver writes Congress has “introduced the Invent and Manufacturing in America Act, a bill that would give tax credit to companies that not only conduct research and development, but also manufacture products resulting from R&D as well”.

In this article Weaver discusses:

  • The boost this would give U.S. manufacturing and distribution
  • Keeping jobs in America
  • How Congress will receive this bill

Weaver continues, “Since 2001, the U.S. has lost more than five million manufacturing and distribution jobs while only 1 in 10 Americans work in manufacturing, down from 1 in 4 during the 1960s, when U.S. manufacturing and distribution hit its peak”. Will this bill improve your manufacturing and distribution practice?
